Premium Horror Missions

This is where your journey begins!
The classic!

During renovation work in the basement, an unknown door was discovered. It revealed an area not marked on any of the building’s blueprints. Screams and muffled noises echo from within.
Can you uncover what happened down there?
The real question is… Do you dare?

Can I cancel an appointment?

Since these are booked tickets (like for the cinema or theater), cancellations are generally not possible. We can flexibly adjust the number of participants on-site — but not the number of rooms. If you want to be on the safe side, use the "Flex Rate." Only with this option can you reschedule the mission free of charge up to 72 hours before the start. Within 72 hours, this is no longer possible.

Just like at a concert, we have to plan and pay for staff. If you, as a private group, must cancel for truly exceptional reasons and can provide proof, we always try to be accommodating and find a solution.
Please make sure to contact the location you booked with in writing. Here you’ll find the Contact Information. Thank you!

What exactly is a “LIVE ESCAPE GAME” – I want to know in detail!

Imagine this: You and your team are immersed in a story where you face logical challenges and physical puzzles. You need to find and connect objects and clues in an unfamiliar room — the goal: escape the room together as a team. That’s all we’ll reveal for now.

Who can play?

Everyone – from young to old!
Anyone who enjoys discovering new things, playing games, or solving puzzles will have a great time. Since some tricky puzzles await, we recommend a minimum age of 8 years, accompanied by at least 2 legal guardians. Players under 14 must be accompanied by a guardian.

Please note: Some rooms may not be suitable for players with limited mobility, as climbing or crawling may be required.
You can find more information by clicking on the mission image.

Do I need any experience with these kinds of games? Do I need to prepare?

No – don’t worry! The rules are simple and will be explained beforehand. Since you're working as a team, everyone brings their own strengths to the table, and together you can succeed.

If you ever get completely stuck, there’s a game master watching the action via camera – they’ll give you a small hint when needed.

What if we end up with more or fewer people than we originally booked?

No problem — just bring the additional person along, and we’ll adjust the total amount on-site. If someone from your team can’t make it unexpectedly, we’ll also adjust the bill accordingly. You only pay for the actual number of participants.

Unfortunately, full room cancellations are not possible. Please note that if you’ve paid online, refunds aren’t available — however, we can issue you a voucher for the corresponding amount.

I have a voucher. What now?

First, thank your friends for the lovely gift — then simply book your preferred room at your preferred time. During the booking process, you’ll have the option to enter your voucher code.

Alternatively, just bring the voucher with you, and we’ll adjust the total amount on-site.

How do alcohol and escape rooms go together?

1–2 drinks are totally fine, of course!
However, for safety reasons, we must deny entry to anyone who is heavily intoxicated. If this only becomes apparent during the mission, we reserve the right to ask the person to leave mid-game.

The same applies to any aggressive or disrespectful behavior toward the game masters, or damage to the set or props.
In such cases, the tickets must still be paid in full.

What safety measures do you have in place?

Safety is extremely important to us, and we want you to be fully focused on the game. That’s why we have:

  • A valid operating permit and, if necessary, an approved fire safety plan that includes:
  • Clearly marked and inspected escape routes as required by building regulations.
  • A game master assigned to each group who monitors the game via camera and microphone, keeping a close eye on what’s happening in the room.
  • Doors that are either unlocked or can be opened at any time from inside and outside using an emergency stop button. In case of a power failure, the doors automatically unlock since we use electromagnetic locks, not bolts.
  • Every player can leave the game room independently at any time without assistance from the game master.
  • Regular checks of smoke detectors and emergency exit signs, and all game masters receive ongoing training on the safety concept.

If you have any more questions, feel free to get in touch with us!

What do tickets cost at THE CODE AGENCY?

The price depends on the number of participants. The more players you have per group, the cheaper it is per person. The exact prices depend on the location and can be found on the booking page for each city.

Are there different difficulty levels?

All our rooms are designed so that every team can succeed. Plus, you always have your game master to support you.

How many players should be in a group?

You need at least two players. Since communication and teamwork are key, we recommend a minimum of 4 people per team. This way, you have more brainpower in the room, but communicating among several players also presents a new challenge.

More players don’t necessarily mean it’s easier, but it definitely gets livelier and more fun. Unfortunately, for teams of two, we have to charge the three-person price, because otherwise the operational costs wouldn’t be covered at the end of the day.

Can I participate with physical limitations?

Unfortunately, wheelchair users can only participate to a very limited extent. Only in "The Scepter of Light" with a very narrow wheelchair that is at most 52 cm wide at the bottom.

However, your team must also include players without physical limitations, as some things are not within reach and the wheelchair needs to be lifted over a small 40 cm step.

In which languages is the game offered?

All missions are playable in both German and English. After all, we operate worldwide.
